Ultrasound Treatment

The Bioprocessing Research Group is exploring ways to improve ethanol production through the use of high-power ultrasonics. Ultrasonics can reduce the energy needed to breakdown corn for ethanol production. This may improve ethanol plant throughput and increase revenue.
