Description:

The Westrup LA-K gravity-separator table is designed for batch and continuous flow separation of small volumes of seed or grain, which have already been separated with regard to width, length, and thickness. The gravity separator exploits the smallest differences in the specific weight of the product making it possible to separate heavy kernels with high-germination ability from lighter, less dense, less valuable kernels.  The gravity separator has a positive-pressure deck fan system with an air-volume throttle and interchangeable deck coverings.  The deck pitch is adjustable in both directions and will favor the discharge of grain into the collection bins that are seated below the lowered areas of the deck. The eccentric strokes and lengths are also adjustable.  A tachometer is provided to monitor deck agitation and frequency.  The gravity table separates material from left to right into five collection bins, separating high density to low density fractions. The unit is rated at 220 lbs. (100 kg) of wheat per hour; however, other grains can be used and will alter the feed rate accordingly.
